Mark Cuban is welcoming Donald Trump to Texas, where the GOP frontunner is planning a huge, surprise rally in Dallas just one day before the next big Republican debate.
Trumps campaign event will take place at the American Airlines Center home of Cubans NBA team Dallas Mavericks.
Trump stunned the press when he announced the event on Twitter Friday:
Ill be in Dallas at the American Airlines Center on Sept 14th at 6 PM. Will be great to be back in Texas. http://t.co/rC8JO7Fzqx

Hes excited about coming to Dallas, said Trump campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks. Hes looking forward to it.
So is Shark Tank billionaire Cuban, who told Business Insider that I have no doubt [Trump] will kill it in Texas.
Cuban, who previously said Trump was the best thing to happen to politics in a long time and even floated the possibility of joining his ticket, told the news website that Mavericks fans are primarily pro-Trump.
They love that he is shaking things up, he said on Cyber Dust. There is nothing more Texan than being confident and entrepreneurial.
The September 14 event is free to the public, and will mark Trumps first major event in North Texas since he announced his bid for president.
Trump, who is leading by double digits in each of RCPs group of 15 national polls, has been drawing large crowds at his events. Last month he attracted between 25,000 and 31,000 people to an outdoor rally in Alabama despite sweltering 94 degree evening heat.
The conditions in Dallas AAC will be far more comfortable. The arena holds 18,500.
Trumps appearance in Dallas shows that hes going to compete for the huge haul of delegates that will be awarded in March 1 Texas primaries.
Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas and former Gov. Rick Perry are hoping to score big in Texas. Trump could make the contest even more interesting.
