Late Thursday evening on Thanksgiving, a Twitter user in the Boston area reported that CNN was airing hardcore pornography for 30 minutes through local provider RCN.

CNN denied airing 30 minutes of inappropriate content on Thursday night after initially blaming local cable television provider RCN for the mishap, the network clarified on Friday.

“The RCN cable operator in Boston aired inappropriate content for 30 minutes on CNN last night,” the network said in their original statement. “CNN has asked for an explanation.”

She even Tweeted out a photo of her screen which was then retweeted by drudge report.

Two hours later, the CNN spokesperson issued another statement, saying: ‘Despite media reports to the contrary, RCN assures us that there was no interruption of CNN’s programming in the Boston area last night.’

Viewers were apparently tuning in for a new episode of Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown and the show took on an entirely new meaning when it was replaced with explicit material starring transsexual pornstar Riley Quinn. The pornstar eventually  for the reportedly free airtime

It’s likely there’s a simple explanation for the mix-up, but until we know what happened it’s hard to see how someone could mess up this badly – and not notice for a full half an hour. Luckily it was past bedtime for potential underage viewers, but that probably won’t save someone at RCN from getting fired today.

The Boston viewer later told : ‘I initially posted because I wanted to see if anyone else in Boston had been affected.

She said in a statement ‘I think it was a broadcasting error that affected only my house.’ However it appears that it wasn’t as many other users tweeted about seeing porn on the news network

‘I can’t wait until @RCNConnects wakes up tmrw & realizes that hardcore porn was broadcast on @CNN instead of @PartsUnknownCNN tonight,’ the viewer wrote.

Someone else added in another tweet: ‘Did anyone else with @RCNConnects in Boston see the hardcore porn that was broadcast on @CNN by mistake?’

CNN had planned to air six back-to-back episodes of ‘Parts Unknown’ in several states on Thanksgiving, including Massachusetts.

CNN, which has come under enormous scrutiny for its lack of editorial standards over the course of the 2016 presidential election. With there reputation and credebity decreasing day by day this defenitally won’t help them in their attempts to boost ratings and raise their editorial standards.
