Sixty percent of adults feel “hopeful and optimistic” about the future of the country, a Wall Street Journal-NBC News poll released Sunday shows

When asked, “When you think about the future of the country, would you say that you are mainly hopeful and optimistic or mainly worried and pessimistic,” sixty percent of 1,000 adults surveyed from Feb. 18 t0 Feb. 22 said they were hopeful, not pessimistic.

This is just one of the numerous polls that have come out showing more support for the President. Another poll conducted by Fox News from Feb. 11-13, said that 53 percent of registered voters had either some confidence or a great deal of confidence in the president. That’s compared to 44 percent who had confidence in the news media.

So when Trump said that the media was the “enemy of the American people.” he may have been right. As most Americans agreed with this statement regardless of how much outrage the media stirred up over it.
